Birds of A (Different) Feather

If you live in Calvert County, you quickly become accustomed to jets screaming overhead. The Patuxent Naval Air Station - also known as Pax River - sits at the mouth of the Patuxent and has become a major military installation over the years. It isn't uncommon to see military jets flying over the river while I am down there filming birds. This one is bristling with different missiles. Andrews AFB, where Air Force One resides, is probably even closer.

Many of these fly surprisingly low.

Helicopters are also a common sight.

I have a feeling these are either or.

This one came in so low, I thought it was going to try to land.  It did scare the birds away.
