One morning the light was particularly nice along the shore of the river to my left.
As if to accommodate my need for a subject, a Great Blue Heron flew in and landed.
Notice how the sunlight appears to be lighting the grasses that trail out into the water but not the water itself.
The Great Blue Heron stayed long enough to make several photos which created another problem. I couldn't decide which one I liked best.
